I wanted to order a zip up and customize it, but wasn't sure if the sizes run small.

They fit like junior sizes. Unless they have changed in the last few years.

i have a few times.... love that site!
there is also a sister site to them bridalpartytees.com i got my hoodie and pants from that site, but have used customized girl a few times
they do run alil on the smaller side so i would suggest ordering a size up. i ordered my hoodie size large and it fits just like my Victoria Secrets size med hoodie, if thats any help :)

They have so many different types of sweatshirts that you can choose from. Which one did you go with?
