I don't know if anyone else's FI did this, but you gotta hear what happened.
FI came home from work practically in tears! When I asked him what was wrong, he looked at me and said- 'I didn't know I wasn't allowed to go dress shopping with you!'
At first I was confused, but then I figured it out. He had been talking about the wedding at work, and was explaining how he is a part of all the decision making. Apparently he thought he would also be in on looking for a wedding gown with me. When they told him no- it destroyed him!! How cute is that?

OMG....that is soooo precious!!! Poor guy! Just tell him it will be that much more exciting when he first sees you on your wedding day in your beautiful dress.

That's cute. I did let FH come dress shopping w/me, but that's raaaaare. Tell him it'd be weird for him in the bridal shops with all those women and brides and no men!

That is so sweet!!!! Brian has seen my dress 100's of times (it's my screensaver), but he hasn't mentioned it to me. Your Fi sounds so sweet!!!

That's great! But then if he was so excited to go dress shopping with you, I think you should take him. I asked FH if he wanted to go with my mom and me, but he couldn't go that first day, and that's the day I wound up getting my dress. So he hasn't seen the dress. But when I had doubts and went to look at another dress, I took him. I say take your FH if he really wants to go!

My FH is very upset about not be able to see my dress- I'm not even allowed to talk about it around him!

that is so sweet - my fh was the same way - he even said 'well then you can't see my tux!' but now has decided he wants me to help!!

Yeah, he tried the thing with the tux too. I'm very old-fashioned, and I still beleive in that whole can't-see-me-til-I-walk-down-the-aisle thing. Plus, I want him to be surprised.

That is so cute! Men are so clueless sometimes, but cute. FH thought that you sat at a desk with a man who shows you pictures when you register. He had no idea you used a scanner!

That is soo sweet. My FHknows what type of dress I'm wearing, it is unusual and he helped me find a designer to make it for me. But I can't wait tosee him when he 'sees' me in it.
I'm wearing this dress minus feathers, no I'm not joking. Since I was a little girl I wanted to wear this dress:
The best thing is FH and FMIL were always really cool about me wearing red for the wedding.

That is so sweet. I've been telling FI about my dress and he just smiles. Then I get so excited and start telling him how I cant wait till he see's it and he tells me I'll see it on you Sept 18, 2004.
