cute idea

I saw this really adorable idea where hot chocolate chip cookies and a shot of milk are displayed on a table as guests leave...I am a huge baker...and I always need to have something sweet to end the night so I ran it by FH and he said he thought it was a great idea.

Do you girls think that if I wanted to bake the cookies my RH would mind heating them up? Or will I not be able to bring in 'outside' food?? I dont want to call and sound dumb asking

I went to a wedding where they gave our snack sized bags of chocolate chip cookies and chocolate milk juice boxes. They came in a little carry case for each couple. It was adorable!

I don't think you'll have a problem bringing in outside food - it's like an edible favor but I don't know if they would heat them up.

Plus - do you really want to bake all those cookies the days leading up to your wedding?

OMG that's such a great idea! Our friends, whose wedding was this past October, had hot coffee and chocolate cookies for us as we left before getting on the shuttle bus back to the hotel. Definitely a nice little treat!

some places you have to sign a waiver to do so, others won't allow it and I really don't know if you want to spend days before the wedding doing this. I would so buy the cookies at costco.

I would do this instead of baking them yourself. Go to Cotsco!

it a really cute idea as long as ur not having a full viennese....im having a full vienese and i just feel like that will be too much no one is gonna it after all the other desserts

I think it's adorable! I went to a wedding that handed out coffee and a little box of donuts to everyone as they were leaving. Everyone loved it!
