cute idea for votive placecards!!

We made votive placecards, and FH'S big issue was, if theyre only gonna be lit for like alil bit, whats the point..(because obviously they should have to be cooled off during the CH)...my issue was, that i spent so much time makin them and paying for the candles, that i wanted them lit on the tables..but how do u do that?
so i came up with this idea..
im gonna have them lit on the table for everyone to see as they walk into CH..
during CH they will be blown out to cool off..
then behind them, my bridal attendant is going to light long tapered candles (about 7 of them along the back of the table)...these will stay lit during the CH, and when everyone comes out they will read this poem i just made up!!

Thank you for coming,
and sharing in our special day!
We made you these candles
to help show you the way.

Don't touch them yet
please let them cool down,
have something to eat
and order a round.

When you are ready
please come find your names
and relight your candles
with one of these flames.

Set them neatly on your table
in the beautiful Manor Room
where you will be seated
to await the bride and the groom!

very cute...BUT check w/ your hall......bc my sister wanted something like that and when she called her hall they said she cant leave matches or a lighter there for guests too light candles. They said being that ppl will be drinking flames arent allowed!
