I was wondering if there is a trick to cutting out the petal cones from a 8.5 x 11 piece of paper without spending hours perfectly cutting each cone or keeping them from looking all jagged for those of us who don't have the patience.
Do you think they sell anything that cuts perfect circles?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Cutting DIY Petal Cones
I went to Kinko's and used their big paper cutter to make the paper into 8X8 squares-- it was really easy and cut perfectly!

Thank you for your response, but I should have mentioned in my original post that I was talking about using the template where the petal cones get cut into circles.

I bought this circular paper cutter - they sell them at all craft stores.
I think it was less than $10 - works perfectly for 8.5x11 paper too!

I am not sure how big the circles need to be, but if the circle cutter proves to be too time consuming consider getting a die-cut.
They are like giant hole punches, can come in a variety of shapes/patterns, and allow you to cut several circles at once.
Not sure how expensive they are since I essentially stole mine (long term borrowing...) But they are fast, nearly impossible to mess up and require no measuring.

I cannot express in words how excited I am right now!!
I just tried this gadget and it works PERFECTLY!!!
It cost me $15.99 in Michaels, but the circle it made is beyond perfect and it cut it in seconds!!
Michaels sells perfect circle cutting templates in the scrapbooking section.

Re: Cutting DIY Petal Cones
Michaels has a circle cutter in the scrap booking isle. Xyron makes one or fiskars. They range between 15-20 bucks, so don't forget your coupon. If the paper is thin enough, you should be able to cut more than one paper together at a time.
