cutting my hair tonight!!! UPDATE with pic

despite what everyone has told me i am getting my hair cut tonight. i was going to wait until after the wedding but my hair is driving me crazy. my hair has always grown very fast & since i have 10 months before the wedding i should be fine.

Update:
i took a before picture but my crazed IPhone deleted it & i didn't realize it until all my hair was chopped off. so this is what it looks like. its a little hard to see but its all long layers. i love it so much & am so happy i cut it. i am going back in September to have the layers shortened a little. i am a little unhappy about the fact that my hair stylist said we may have to put in extensions for my hair to hold curls the day of the wedding. but i do want my hair to be down, curly & full so i guess i will get over it.

thats what i was thinking! when i was thinking short, i thought like at your shoulders.....but it looks really nice, i love the layers!

i have emotional attachment to my hair. its my security blanket. i refused to ever get it cut when i was younger. i used to only allow a trim of a 1/2 inch at a time. then all a sudden in 2006 i cut off 10 inches & donated it to locks of love in memory of my friend who died of cancer, since then i have only trimmed it very slightly. however when i spoke to my hair stylist she said i needed to do a big cut again so it would be healthier for the wedding. so we probably cut 3 inches last night.

i will look for pictures to post next week of how long my hair used to be.
