In order to cut costs and get the invitations that I really want, I suggested that we do postcard RSVP's instead of having little cards and envelopes. It saves costs on printing and purchasing the reply envelopes. Is that tacky? Should we not be doing that? Has anyone else ever seen or used postcard rsvps?

Re: Cutting too many corners?
I have seen it before- I think it can be very cute - it can be done in a way where it doesn't seem like you are 'cutting corners'.

Also, FH thinks it will make people reply quicker b/c it eliminates the step of putting the card into the envelope. haha....I think that's stretching it just a bit.

I did it!!! everyone loved them...no one cared that they were postcards. Even the post office people commented that it was a great idea instead of paying for regular postage.

Re: Cutting too many corners?
how would that work ? would the response card be bigger than it normally is? or would it just be the response card with no envelope and an address on the back with the stamp?
sounds cool.

The response care with no envelope, return address and stamp on the back. You got it!
