My friend recommended that I have my ceremony at CW Post Chapel since Ive having a hard time finding a church. Has anyone been there? Is the chapel nice? I had plan to check out this weekend but just wanted to know if anyone has been there and what they thought.

Dont you have to be alumni? Thats where I went and I remember the weddings there were usually alumni. The chapel is very nice, the only downsides are that it is on a huge grass hill ( think heels, dress and possible bad weather GOD FORBID!) And if it is a school day, or during school hours there are college kids ALL OVER the place.. could be annoying.. Or hard to find a spot for pictures outside with the crowding,.

I went to Post for undergrad and now I work here! I know that alumni can get married for 'free' (they suggest a donation) but I'm not sure about others who are not alumni. I can tell you that I walked from my dorm to the cafeteria in my pajamas every single weekend and saw plenty of weddings. I always wondered if me and my nasty pajamas ever made it into wedding pictures. It's not like the flow of students ever really stops completely so I'm sure there isn't much opportunity for long outdoor photo sessions. Parking is also very difficult. It is very pretty inside though.

exactly i scrubbed it out walking past the chapel everyday ! Or sweaty coming from the gym haha!!
