D-Day......

Re: D-Day......

Welllllllll the verdict is this....the place is done, its so freaking gorgeous, its unreal. However, they don't have the permits they need to have us in there. We have to come up with a place in the next week to rebook at.

Even if they have a permit in a week, we still have no where to have the ceremony. While it INFURIATES me to have to move right now, I just want the peaceful feeling already...soooooooo tomorrow I start viewing locations again.

Anyone free for lunch? hahahhah

Sorry to hear about this, I hope they get the permits. You will get past it! Think positive and let us girls know if you need any help at all.

So sorry to hear, but at least now you have an answer. I would make a list of possible other venues and just start calling and asking if they have your date.
What is your current RH doing to help, both in contacting other vendors and money-wise? I hope something.
I had just remembered someone posted about canceling their wedding at my RH, but that was for the 19th. Don't know if you want to change your date.

THey're helping its just that none of the places are comparable. If i find a hotel, its not on the beach and those are my pictures. If I find a place on the beach, its not a hotel and then no one has anywhere to stay. I'm screwed.

And I'll post the pics when I get home later....there is no where that is comparable...think gansevoort miami.

I'm so sorry you are going through this and I am so annoyed by it all too! I do't understand why they don't have the proper permits...shouldn't that have been something they got before they started booking events.

Are you going to get your money back? Are they going to help you find a place? I really hope you find something that you like and that has the hotel space available since it is a holiday weekend.
