Da Vinci Code sequel!

For those who loved it.... His next Robert Langdon book picks up where this one left off and comes out summer 2005.

I'm already looking forward to it!

Da Vinci code isn't his first/only book. Angels & Demons is one - I think there's at least 2 others. Just happened that Da Vinci code was his biggest hit.

Angels & Demons also has the Robert Langdon character.

I'm reading Angels & Demons now. Same concept as DaVinci Code but set in the Vatican.

Angels and Demons is a separate story, though, right?

I was just fascinated to hear he was continuing this storyline.

It's a separate story but same plot basically - they need Robert Langdon to solve the mystery; he meets a beautiful girl who's releated to the murdered victim; they run around the Vatican following the clues; he finds the girl attractive ...

Dan Brown writes great stories but IMO it's basically the same storyline. The only saving grace is that I learn a little religion, history, symbology along the way - which is always good.

Thanks for explaining. I'm glad he's sticking with the same storyline for the next one. I love when good authors do series...like Tom Clancy.

digital fortess is another dan brown book. i think his first. i read the DC about a year ago and finished the digital fortress in january. different, but still a worthwhile read.

my favorite part about the DC was the web quests. i have completed 3 since reading the book last april and still waiting for dan brown to call me. the 'chosen' one will be the main character in his next book.
