I have never attended any dachshund event, I didn't even know they existed lol. What is it exactly?
somewhere in the city around october i think there's a dachshund race. there's also 'earthdog' competitions where your dog goes through and underground maze to find a live mouse (who's in a cage'. you have to train your dog for the earthdog ones though....

My sister has a Mini-D and she's gone to a ton of events.
I took my Copper out to the Dachshund festival in Washington Square park once! Poor thing was terrified, their were too many & all she wanted to do was go home! She is such a chicken!
i've never.. my dox is afraid of his own shadow. or he would be licking everyone to death.. but he is quite a little athlete, I bet he would love it, if he could settle down and not get so excited!!!
I've never taken my dachshund to any events, cause he's more of a house dog and he is scared of other people that approach him so he backs away when they try to pet him, but he never bites. I did want him to have little babies though, he needs a girlfriend.
