Tim mcgraw Song: My Little Girl Album:
(verse 1:) gotta hold on easy as i let you go. gonna tell you how much i love you, though you think you already know. i remember i thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm. you've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born.
(chorus:) beautiful baby from the outside in. chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again. go on, take on this whole world. but to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.
(verse 2:) when you were in trouble that crooked little smile could melt my heart of stone. now look at you, i've turned around and you've almost grown. sometimes you're asleep i whisper 'i love you!' in the moonlight at your door. as i walk away, i hear you say, 'daddy love you more!'.
(chorus:) beautiful baby from the outside in. chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again. go on, take on this whole world. but to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.
(verse 3:) someday, some boy will come and ask me for your hand. but i won't say 'yes' to him unless i know, he's the half that makes you whole, he has a poet's soul, and the heart of a man's man. i know he'll say that he's in love. but between you and me. he won't be good enough!
(chorus:) beautiful baby from the outside in. chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again. go on, take on this whole world. but to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

Re: Daddy Daughter DanceHELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!
I used Always by Patsy Cline. It was really me dancing with my best friend's father while a montage of my parents played in the background.. it was my parent's wedding song - but I think the lyrics can easily apply to a parent/child.
Here are the lyrics: I'll be loving you, always, With a love that's true, always. When the things you plan, Need a helping hand, I will understand, always. Always.
Days may not be fair, always. That's when I'll be there, always. Not for just an hour, Not for just a day, Not for just a year. But always.
Days may not be fair, always. That's when I'll be there, always. Not for just an hour, Not for just a day, And not for just a year. But always.

Re: Daddy Daughter DanceHELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!
We used the most awesome song EVER.... (at least in my opinion)
Not While I'm Around - sung by Barbara Streisand, written by Stephen Sondheim - From Sweeny Todd
Not While I'm Around
* Originally from the 1979 Broadway musical, Sweeney Todd * Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim * This version taken from Barbra Streisand's 1985 album, The Broadway Album
Nothing's gonna harm you Not while I'm around Nothing's gonna harm you No sir, not while I'm around Demons are prowling everywhere Nowadays I'll send 'em howling I don't care I got ways
No one's gonna hurt you No one's gonna dare Others can desert you Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there
Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while But in time, nothing can harm you Not while I'm around
Being close and being clever, ain't like being true I don't need to - I would never hide a thing from you Like some
No one's gonna hurt you No one's gonna dare Others can desert you Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there
Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while But in time, nothin' can harm you Not while I'm around.
