Dafont.com help

Okay i don't get it. How do i download a type of font?

I clicked on download and the box comes up with... download to compressed folder (whatever that means). Do you do this? If so, then what?

Then you have to unzip it.... into your 'font' folder... which is located on your Control Panel -

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Fonts

This is where it will end up...

Locate where you downloaded it and right mouse click on that file you downloaded. It should give you some option like unzip or load or somthing like that -

Is any of this making sense ??

Okay - while you are in that FONT folder...

CLICK File
you will see an option for
Install a new font - Click that

It will bring up a window that will allow you to browse your computer... browse to where you downloaded that font and select it.. but you have to decompress it or it will not work. you do that part first - before you do this part in the Font folder.

Thanks so much for your help! It sort of helped! Once i unzipped the font, i put it into whatever folder i wanted (ex: weddings folder) and i opened my control panel as well. So then i just dragged the font in my weddings folder to the control panel folder Fonts. It worked! So that's all i care about!
