Daily Stalking Report

Daily Stalking Report

My mom is going to kill me, being as I call every day at noon for my mail count LOL. Today we got a grand total of ZERO cards, meaning....

tomorrow I have no choice but to invite my coworkers, an extra 14 heads. I really would have liked to have a more accurate count before I went to the backup plan, but I really don't have much of a choice at this point with a printed rsvp date of 11/1.

OR do you think it's really rude if I gave them on 10/13 when we get back from the 3-day weekend and cross my fingers I get more responses tomorrow and Sat? I think 3 weeks response time is still ok for coworkers.

Have I mentioned how much I hate this part of the wedding?

I'd hold off until the 13th. Maybe you/ your mom/ FH's mom can call the lingering people to get a better idea if any actually intend on going?

This way you have a better idea before asking your coworkers

FH's mom won't call anyone until after the date passes. There's barely anyone left on our side of the family that hasn't responded, all the holdouts are FH's side. My dad can start to shake down his OOT aunt, uncle, and cousins, but I don't want him to guilt them in to committing either and then they bail last minute, because there are health issues involved in that situation, which is why they're waiting till last minute.

Ugh. Historically, I get 1 card on Fridays (if that), and past 3 Saturdays I've gotten no cards, so unless the trend breaks I doubt the extra weekend will do much

I would invite your backups now. I was in the same situation as you are w/ guests MIL invited, and they were all NO's. I wish we had invited more ppl, but I didn't b/c I didn't want to go crazy over. If I knew then what I knew now. Good luck!

Ok now I've got a better idea of what your situation is...

I would start inviting you co-workers. Worst case scenario you go a little over your minimum... right?
