I think that's good only if your bridal party is all friendly with one another. If not, they'd probably much rather sit at tables with friends. Maybe you could ask them, I'm sure they'll let you know what they'd prefer.

The Sweetheart table is sooooooo much more romantic.

I really do not like the dais.

How about mxing the bridal party up at different tables with your other friends?

It's really up to you, but we are doing a sweetheart table. Our bp is mixed with couples and singles and we just figured they will just sit together at tables near us.

We're personally doing a sweetheart table. My brother is doing a dais for his wedding (I'm a BM, FH is a GM) and I am NOT looking forward to it. I'd much rather be sitting with my parents and grandparents.

Sweetheart table. Personally I've sat at a Dais for weddings and hated it.

Sweetheart table for me.

Diamondgrlie,
A Sweetheart table is just the Bride and Groom and off to the side (one each side the Sweetheart table) is tables for your Bridal Party.

A Dias is just one long table with Bride, Groom and whole Bridal Party

Definetely

Why don't you have the bridal party at tables near you. Depending on how the room is situated that may work. I went to a wedding where this occurred.

How many people do you have.
You could do one regular table for BP & you 2.
Or you could do the sweethart table & either have girls on one table to your side, & boys on the other, or mix them, and if you have room, you could include spouses/dates.

That way they are still close to you, but not all spread out like a dias.

are the side tables usually the same size as the regular tables (mine are 10 or 12 people)? or are they smaller?

All the places I have gone to see so far have only had the rooms set up with the sweetheart tables (which I LOVE) but they were calling them a dais.

Yeah, I think I am doing sweetheart table, parents/family tables on either side and then the next table one each side will be the bridal party. My mom is not happy either, she thought her close friends were going to be the second table.
