One of my BM who lives out of town was supposed to come look at BM gowns with me. She works at a college and it's really hard for her to get down here. Obviously she isn't coming now, I don't know when we are going to be able to pick out her gown. This sucks. Anyone else have to postpone wedding stuff?

No, but I know someone getting married this weekend and I feel terriblr for her. One of the main reasons why I didn't chose a summer wedding, storms.

Yes. I am still going to Bridal Reflections on Saturday to try on an assortment of Belsoie BM gowns with my little sister. She is my JR Maid of Honor and just turned 12 and is also starting to become a young lady (if you know what I mean ) so finding a dress that looks good on her and compliments the others have been tough.
Anyway, I was hoping to have a final decision on her dress and then go on Sunday out to Bridal Suite in Bay Shore to finalize the BM order, and order my headband, blusher and a BM dress swatch. I didn't even bother making an appt bc even its category 2 I do NOT want to be driving in that!!
I guess as long as the power holds up I can research and gather information for everything else that is coming up on the to do list!

Could I suggest having her wear a different dress but in the same fabric and color as the other girls? I can't imagine ever finding a dress that looks good on a girl who is just developing and a full grown woman. She has a special role in the wedding, she won't stick out.

Can you tell me if they have the chiffon dress in Jr BM when you go there? I was looking for my niece to get a chiffon Belsoie gown, but I can't find them! All I can find is Bill Levkoff!

She will most likely be wearing her own dress in the same fabric and color (tiffany chiffon cobalt) as the girls, just as you said. I might get away with having my other sister/MOH in the same dress, but If not, I'm fine having them different.
I'm pretty sure belsoie doesn't come in jr sizes. She's already fitting into the regular sizes it will just need to be hemmed.

Lindsey, is there somewhere closer to her where she could shop on her own and send you pics?
SInce all of my BMs live in different time zones from me and each other, there was no way I was going to be able to shop with any of them. My sister (MOH) went shopping with my mom and sent me pics. Now that she has her dress, I'm sending that info and a swatch to my two other BMs. Then again, I'm pretty easy -- I don't care if they wear exactly the same dress or color so long as they coordinate ok.
That's what we are going to do. I told them to pick any Belsoie Tiffany chiffon New Red gown they wanted, I don't care what she picks, I just wanted to see her and have a good time shopping together. Also she's a total hippy (dreads, tie dye, big dog and lives in a teepee). I'm a little concerned some of the salons near her might treat her snootily and I don't know where to send her up there. I just hope they are nice to her.
