Dance, Dance!

Hi Ladies!

i was wondering what other people are doing... I LOVE to dance.

How are you getting your dress sized, height wise? I know some said they were changing into flip flops, others chinese slippers, etc. So if you're wearing heel to walk down the aisle, beginning of reception, and then slipping on these almost flats, what do you do if your dress is longer? I see how ladies in the brides review with 4' Manolo's and what not, but thats not me! I wanna shake my booty and still be able to feel my feet by the end of the night, and I don't mean feel them in pain. LOL. So, how does this work out?

Thx.
Linda

I'm wear flats the whole time!! That's the good thing about having a FH that's 5'8 lol

I'm torn because I want to be comfortable so I can dance and not have my feet killing me but I can't find pretty flats that I like and I really wanted to have a little heel so I feel all dressed up.. I need to decide ASAP because I need to get my dress measured with my shoes on.. UGH!

I love love love to dance as well. Thats why I am planning on switching to flats for the reception. I want to be able to dance the night away with FH, family and friends non-stop.

I am wearing flats the whole time. I actually wish I could wear heels for the ceremony but I am the same height as my FH.

I am definitely wearing flip flops for the reception. I am all about flip flops!

I'm kind of unsure what to do. I should probably just wear flats the whole time because I am a big dancer as well!!

I would like to wear heels to the ceremony, because I always feel more proper/dressy when I'm in heels even if they are covered by a dress, I feel like I just walk taller and straighter if that makes sense. lol

But FH is 5'6 and I'm 5'3 so heels puts me even with him and I don't think he'd appreciate that. At the smae time if I have my girls in heels they will all be taller than me! eek!

So yea still in the process of working this one out.

i am tiny! im 4'11 so I ALWAYS wear heels LOL even when i was preggo i rocked them...but my feet are used to them so i will be wearing heels and when i get tired i will just switch to flats as a back up....

I'm tall 5'7' and loveee heels! My FH is tall too so I can get away with 3-4 inch heels, I'll probably get a pair that I'll feel comfortable wearing the whole night and I dance a lot, but for some reason feel better when I'm dancing in heels. I'll probably have a more comfortable smaller heel pair to change into if my feet hurt. No flats for me though.

I'm short... im a lil under 5ft so I will definately be wearing heels.. probably not too high because I almost NEVER wear them.

I'm sure I will bring flats or flip flops to switch into and hope I dont step on my dress too much lol

I can't wear very big heels because FH is not that much taller than me so I think I will be good to go.

I'm thinking of maybe getting a smaller wedge flip flop and breaking it in this summer. So I'll wear heels, not extremely high, but then I'll switch to the flip flops that are a similar height...
