Did anyone have not have a specific dancefloor but an entire room of hardwood floors and was it interrferring with the dancing or better? ( These are the little things about hall decisions that are driving me nuts!)

I have all hardwood floors. I don't have any problem with it because it provides a bigger dance floor than one that is cut off by a rug but in the end, I think either are fine.

SMCC has a large hardwood floor with no carpeting. As far as I remember this had no impact on the wedding or dancing. It probably allowed for people to spread out more on the dance floor which is a good thing.

I love that my hall is all wood and granite on the floor and absolutly no rugs! everyone can spread out and enjoy the dancefloor and not feel all squished together like they are at a club
