For some reason I've decided that I don't want to have the dance floor in the middle of the room. We've looked at Timber Point and fell in love with the set-up. But so far that is the only place we've looked.
What other places have the dance floor off to the side? Or allow you to arrange the room that way?
Thanks!

Sans Souci.
The tables are clustered together and raised a step or two higher than the dance floor.

I really like the set up at San Souci for that reason. The older people don't get stuck sitting right next to the music and it makes the dance floor feel a little 'seperate' from the dining area (but you can still see the dance floor from the tables.)

Re: Dance Floors
Depending on the number of people you have-The Woodlands is kind of a mix. We're expecting to have around 175--with that arrangement the majority of the tables will all be together, with the dance floor on one end. I say majority, because we will have our bridal party tables and our parents tables on the other side (3-4) tables. If you are closer to the 200 person mark, you'd probably have the entire ballroom, in which case the dance floor would be in the middle. Sorry to be lengthy. Hope this helps!

Re: Dance Floors
The small room at Fox Hollow has the dance floor in the front of the room. You can only fit about 130 people in there though. That's where we're having our receptions so FM me if you have any questions!

I believe Leonards. Because the whole rooms are dance floors, you can arrange the chairs however you like - depending on the room you get.

The Riviera. The table are setup along the back of the room by the Windows and dance floor is the front of the room. It is a weird setup but very nice. It is on the water so it is nice to look out the window from your table.

The Metropolitan. Dance floor is right when you walk into the reception room and the seating is along one side. Also, the Swan Club, the one room has all the seating along the back.
