We just started taking ours, depends on if you know what you want to do and how quick of a learner you are. I think 1x a week is fine you have a million other things going on

Depends on how advanced you both are. I've danced my entire life but never with a partner and FH hasn't taken a dance class really. I would give myself 5 classes and then teach what we learned to FH more slowly.

we just started ours in nyc... got VERY diff quotes from 2 places
one that most people on here go to was almost twice the price of another place for 45 minute sessions and the other place offered an hour long lesson for half
i also thought the instructor at the other place was much more professional

is 5 lessons enough? 5 is $450 and 10 is $850 That's alot of $$$. He is very professional but he told too many stories and the clock was ticking!

Hey, FH & I are taking private dance lessons....we're going to try to do 4 before the wedding. FM me if you want the instructors number. She is really nice and her prices were really reasonable!

FH and I are taking dance lessons at Sandra Cameron Dance Center in NYC. They have a wedding dance package. For $400 you get 4 group classes, 3 private lessons and unlimited practice sessions. We start in April
