Re: Dance Lessons
We're going to Starr on 110 in Huntington. We've had 2 so far and I like the ladies there. I do think that their prices are pretty high - $375 for 5 1-hour private lessons.

Re: Dance Lessons
My parents are going to the Arthur Murray dance school near Walt Whitman Mall. I know there is a coupon for $ off on the arthur murray website. DF and I are going to dancemanhattan. We took couples classes and now have private lessions. They are about 375 for 5 lessions.

Re: Dance Lessons
We are using John from Ballroom dancing (a vendor on here). You can get a bundle of 4 one hour private lessons for $280 or $75 per each private one hour lesson.
He's great and really makes you feel comfortable.

Re: Dance Lessons
FH and I took lessons at Arthur Murray in Bay Shore (Suffolk) and had soooo much fun! Every so often they do a special 'engaged couples' group lesson to give you an introduction to what you can learn. If you sign up for lessons, you can cut your cost in half if you go with another couple and share one instructor (we went with our friends who were also getting married).

Do you remember what you paid. We are friends with another couple who is getting married and are thinking about lessons. It might be fun to do it with another couple.
