dance lessons

Has anyone taken ball room dance lessons before the wedding?

Did you think it was worth it??

Ive always wanted to learn and figure why not take the opportunity to do it.

We're taking them now and I think it's totally worth it. We're having a great time learning the steps and hopefully we'll look like we know how to dance at our wedding. We've only had 2 lessons so far (one was a free 1/2 hour session) and I already feel like we've made a lot of progress.

I found a place in Staten Island which is close for me.

The price they gave me was 2 30 minute lessons and 1 45 minute group less for $40.00

Does that sound good?

I highly recommend taking dance lessons. We'll have taken them for 3 months by our wedding date. We take private lessons. I've taken group lessons, and I don't recommend it for your wedding. It's best to pay more money to get private lessons. I think that taking dance lessons is one of the best things you can do before you wed. We went to a wedding together 2 weeks ago and danced for the first time in public and had an amazing time.

We are also taking private dance lessons and are using John of Ballroom dance Long Island ( a vendor here). They are so worth it.

We've been taking lessons and I would definitely recommend it. It has been a lot of fun and FH actually looks forward to going which surprises me. We're also taking private lessons with John from Ballroom Dance Long Island.
