Dance Lessons
Has anyone taken dance lessons in the Western Nassau/Eastern Queens area? Was it worth it? Is Arthur Murray the only game in town?

Dance Lessons
I took lessons at the Plainview Arthur Murray. It was good, they broke it down very well and made it easy to learn. We got a 6 lesson package for $200. 2 private, 2 group, 2 practice party and 1 lesson review. I know Brian feels a bit better about getting out on the dance floor now. And it was fun, too.

Check out local adult-ed classes
I'm a dance instructor, in PA. A do some private classes but a majority of what I do is adult-ed nights at some of the local high schools. They are a lot cheaper than taking private classes. (I know most bride and grooms-to-be don't exactly have a money tree in the backyard.) It's fairly common in PA, so I don't see why there wouldn't be these types of classes on LI. Most people never really slow dance (other than rock back and forth) with their partners. These classes are a good way to learn a couple of steps and get comfortable with one another. Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
