Dance Lessons

So last night my fh confessed he's going to be nervous and scared the day of the wedding.....why i asked....bc he doesn't want to dance infront of everyone! He's not very good as it is (jmo ) But I love him anyway!

So my question to you is: Did anyone take lessons? If so was it a help? I am really considering it and i think fh is too! Just wanted to know if they were worth it. tia

We took dance lessons and it helped a tremendous amount. Without them I dont\'t think DH would have gotten on the dance floor for the first dance.

FH and I are going to! The people I baby-sit for go to dancing lessons once a week and they love it. It started as a couple of lessons the husband got for the wife for Valentine's Day and they liked it so much they kept going. So we figure it'll be some nice bonding time for us and FH and I won't be so clumsy on our big day!

Your best bet and most affordable choice would be to take a partnering dance class with FH. Private classes would probably be a lot better because you can make them teach you whatever you want but they will run you probably $50+ per class.

We are thinking about going because FH is clueless about how to dance and is nervous about getting up in front of everyone. I think lessons would be fun too.

If i were you I would do it. It might also be a very fun experience for the two of you. If he is willing to do it then go for it

Mine too but I am thinking of buying him a gift cert for Christmas. Either way, he is going, whether he likes it or not. He does not even know how to slow dance or anything. We will look like fools. I also want to learn the lindy or something so I can suprise my father with hit.

Re: Dance Lessons

We took dance lessons at Arthur Murray. It was fantastic. We learned the waltz, fox trot and a little bit of salsa / merengue. It isn't cheap but it was worth it to us.

As soon as possible. You don't need additional stress right before the wedding.
