Morning ladies! Can anyone recommend a dance school for FH and I in Nassau? I thought I saw something on here once before about someplace called something like Nassau Dance something or other and they had a location in Massapequa. I know there is Arthur Murray, but we don't want to sepnd a million dollars on lessons.
Thanks!

Re: Dance lessons
I ended up not taking lessons, but I wish we did......I wanted to use John from Ballroom Dance....I met him at the wedding of the year last year, he was sooooooo nice! I believe he's an LIW vendor.

I second John. We used him...and he was great. We learned our first dance and some swing in just 6 weeks. We're thinking of continuing now that the wedding is over. He has studio space in a few places, but will also come to you. We had the lessons in our basement.

OMG I had no idea he'd come to your house!! I would have totally done it that way! DH wanted nothing to do w/ lessons, so my problem was I couldn't figure out how to physically get him there we totally looked like 2 high schoolers doing the 2 step during our first dance lol

I really lucked out - my dad is a retired ballroom dancer so he is teaching FH and I. I am trying to get him to start a dancing school - how cute would Father of the Bride Dance workshops be? He could be a vendor on here - heehee

Re: Dance lessons
are you near great neck? FH and I are in a social dance class at the great neck arts center and we love it. They also offer classes for the bride and groom, which are private lessons

Another vote for John. He was great and also came to our house.
