Dance Lessons

Has anyone taken dance lessons for the big day? I was thinking about doing it but I dunno how much it costs or where to even start looking. Any suggestions?

(looking for preferably Nassau)

We took lessons with John from Ballroom Dance LI...he's a vendor on here. He was fantastic, I cant say enough good things about him. Definitely check him out.

We went to Arthur Murray in plainview. we had a great time! They were reasonably priced and we learned enough to look good on the dance floor. I highly recommend it.

We took ballroom dance lessons in Brooklyn
$30/couple for an hour
there were only 2 couples at the lesson (we went with our friends)
we loved it so much that we're continuing after the wedding!

I've been searching for dance places in Manhattan. Gail from NY Wedding Dance responded to me that 6 lessons cost $510 and they even do a choreographed dance! The place is located near Penn Station - 1261 Broadway (bet. 31st and 32nd)

John is amazing, in fact DH and I have lessons with him even now! He is less expensive then the 'group' places and one on one is so much better for the FH who may not be so hot on the idea! Good Luck!
