Dance lessons?

How many of you took them?

how much was it?
where did you go?
was it worth it?
did you have them choreograph it to your wedding song?

We used John from Ballroom Dance. They are a vendor on this site. He did choreograph our first dance and I can't even begin to tell you how worth it he was! We used their studio in westbury but there are a few throughout LI. I don't remember the exact price but we had 5 lessons and it was roughly $300. We went to arthur murray before we found john and they wanted our first born child.

$300 for 5 lessons isnt bad at all. was 5 lessons enough for you?

Do you think if you use your wedding song while getting dance lessons it takes away from the moment on your wedding day?

We are using John at Ballroom Dance -- it is so much fun.

No I personally don't think it takes away at all because it is such a different setting then it will be on your wedding day. Different mind set too.

Not sure about brooklyn or queens but he is all over and very flexible! We are using the Selden Studio.

I took lessons in Brooklyn
We paid only $30/ hour for the both of us, and we went with another couple (so it's $60/hour, but the 2 couples split it)
We love her and still keep going to lessons, even after the wedding
