I dont think we're going to do dance lessons..its not worth the money just for one dance.

I understand, but my FH can't dance at all. We are doing lessons so he will move on beat. When he dance the only movement is his arms and he call that the funky monkey. He doesn't move his feet or head. He cannot do the two step. So we have to take lessons. When we slow dance I lead and move him on the floor. So I need all the help I can get. I take him to party so he can get loosen up around people on the dance floor.

we will not be taking lessons...i have seen people who took lessons look really unnatural bc u can tell they are counting steps. i think its better just to dance and be in the moment with fh...just my opinion.

lol at 1st he was like ok.. i guess..

then we got into an argument over goddd knows wha..but i remember it had nothign to do with the wedding.... as he stormed off he shouted 'and im also not taking dance lessons! im putting my foot down' lolol i think i asked him to stop wearing earings. i think they look tacky on him lol

so yea.. not only does he have to learn how to dance..but also greek dance.. but im only having like 1 or 2 songs..the rest is english..

Re: dance lessons

FH and I took dance lessons last year with friends, just for fun. in class we were pretty good. but once we left the class, FH couldnt remember any of the steps. we have a video of the class, so its been his job to watch it. after all, he is supposed to b leading meeee. LOL.

so im not sure if we will take lessons again. i think so, but i guess we need to make room for it in our budget.

i was also thinking of taking lessons w my dad. my dad totally cant dance -- unless you count the hokey pokey as a dance move.

I really want to, I have to keep convincing FH to do it, being that i need it more than he does, FH is a dancing machine

Re: dance lessons

yup, greek dancing lessons, thats the only way FH will actually dance!! lol he thinks he s u c k s so he doesnt want to be embarrassed..... plus 90% of the music will be greek so i know this money on lessons wont go to waste

this is the reason why we're not taking them....cuz FH cant dance, like hes really bad, and he suggested taking lessons, but i hate when it looks like insttead of enjoying the first dance, they bride n groom are thinking in their heads about what comes next!

so i said we will just practice how to not jus go in a circle, how to do dips, when to put in a turn here or there...my dad even said he'd help teach him...thats the funniest thing i every pictured!!! Dad and FH slow dancing!!!
