haha clearly i have been on wedding planning hiatus and am now back in full force...
is anyone taking dance lessons for your first dance and if so, can you recommend the studio where you're taking them?

we took lessons from John at Ballroom Dance Long Island, he is a vendor on here, and we really liked him

I'm not taking lessons for our actual first dance but we took a few classes at silva dance in rockville center and it was fun.

We are taking dance classes at the Sandra Cameron Dance Center in Manhattan. They have a special wedding prep dance program which includes group classes and private lessons.

we took lessons at arthur murray in port jeff. they were great. we had a blast each time we were there.

So how much do these lessons cost and are there any good places in the mid-suffolk area? Cuz FH and I are not good dancers together (I have a horrible problem of always taking the lead) and I do not want to just do the 'sway'.

i took private lessons from a dance instructor who was recommended by a studio that I called. Funny thing is that I almost called another studio that she works at. Good thing I didn't so she was able to give me private lessons at home. They were 65 an hour. let me know if you are interested.

I would LOVE to take dance lessons but FH refuses If yours is willing to do it, cosider yourself a lucky lady!
