Dance lessons-any info will help..

I searched dance lessons, and im only seeing Arthur Murray in Commack on the boards.
(actually I only read a few but I want your girls input)
I want to take a few dance lessons with FH. He can dance, and I can tear up the floor but I feel akward with the slow dance and all eyes on me so ..
Can anyone reccomend places? Im in NAss co... And tell me if you have done dance lessons & if your comfortable now?

We really liked Toni at The Dance Place in Hicksville, and it's really really affordable there.

We have lessons at the Manhattan Dance Studio. Not sure if that's too far for you, but I'll report back once we go as to the quality.

They're not cheap, but Buy With Me (kinda like Groupon) had a deal a while back that had 2 private lessons for $60, so you can keep an eye open for another deal like that.

We went to NY body Rhythms. She's in plain view and we really liked her!! She's on here as a vendor. HTH

i did group lessons as rhythm and soul in levittown

I really loved it there and felt the prices were very reasonable

i never did private one on one lessons tho

Nope! They do private lessons.

I did my privates with Arthur Murray Commack- so I guess I'm not too much of a help.... But I will say they were awesome

We're taking lessons at ballroom of Huntington. They are the best! We've learned so much since starting a few months ago.

They Are only about 20 min away from Hicksville.
