Anyone know of dance places that help you learn a dance specifically to your wedding song, not just dance moves? How long does it take to learn? How much? Where is it??

ooohhhh.....I really want to do this too. I am going to try Arthur Murray in Bay Shore, since I live in town and see what they have to offer.

I don't know where you live, but we went to a dance studio in Forest Hills called Fred Astaire. We had 5 or 6 (can't remember) private lessons for about $350-$400 and that exactly what they did--choreographed our dance to our song. It was a lot of fun and terribly romantic!
I am pretty sure they have a location on LI as well

We go to Dance Obsession in Farmingdale. It's so much fun! They will help you customize your first dance.

We had a dance choreographed for us at Remember When also. How long you go depends on how complicated you want your dance. We went once a week for 3 months, but I some people only go for 4 or 5 lessons.

FH and I are going to NY Crystal Dance studio. We're going for several lessons. In the beginning, we work a bit on choreographing our first dance, and then the rest, we learn various other dances. You pay for the instructor's time, not for the amount of people, so FH's parents came too to learn dances with us. Next week, my parents are going to come too! It's a blast

You really must come. We've been doing the Hustle (going to an all 70's wedding) I've found all new ways to mess up now that we are doing something faster. Its quite a show!

that is what my dad is learning...when he goes without me LOLOL... I wanted to learn those steps as well...I LOVE 70's dances!
