Dance Lessons in Nassau?

Dance Lessons in Nassau?

Can you tell me where you are taking dance lessons in Nassau County? Does anyone have any experience with Starlight Dance Studio in New Hyde Park? We don't want a routine or anything, but just to get comfortable dancing . . . any advice?

We're using John from Ballroom Dance LI. Our lessons are at a studio in Bethpage, but he uses studios all over. He's really awesome and is VERY patient, lol.

We did a group session at starlight and it was only 30 min. long. Never in my LIFE have I heard about ANY dance class not lasting an hour or so.

yeah. They were nice and all but I feel like it's a lot of $ for a short amount of time.

we go to dance obsessions in farmingdale and we looooove it!!!!:) this is our 3rd lesson already and we learned about 6 dances!!!! they are great I would def recommend!:)

we go to starlight in NHP!!!! the intro lesson is 30 mins long but after that they're an hour long. we are really enjoying it!!!

Oh really! Can you give me some info on the pricing and the structure? Are you doing private lessons or group? The website is super confusing / kind of doesn't work . . .

I know a girl that comes to your house and does a custom dance just for you depending on what you need or want. We met with her last week and shes really nice. Shes done two of my friends dances and they came out awesome! FM if you want her email.

we go to Arthur Murray in commack, but I am sure there is a location in nassau - we love it!

We've been going to silva! They have group lessons every wednesday. You learn Salsa and then each month they switch up the second dance. The lessons are for an hour and 30 min.

its $425 for 5 private lessons, hour long each.
they also do packages of 10 private. they have other options too if you want choreograph etc. but u said u don't (and we don't either)
not sure about group bc that wasn't an option for us. we're antisocial lol. orrrr just really self-conscious.

we had 5 lessons and one free intro lesson at dance obssession in farmingdale right off seaford oyster bay... we worked with Stacey Arnold,...shes young and fun. We loveeee her! We spent 200 on this package and were way prepared for our dance. fm me for more info!
