Try Nassau Community College. I don't have the phone number on me but I have a non-credit book of classes they offer at home. I'll post over the weekend. You could also try any of the Arthur Murray dance studios.

Levittown Hall has dance classes on...Wednesday??...evenings, through the Town of Hempstead -- I took them last year and you can tell all the engaged couples -- they are the only ones not having fun because they are trying soooo hard....rest of the class is older folks just getting a cheap night out... but they are fun!! Contact your Town, see if there is anything available.
