Ok girls... I am in a bit of a delimia about the dances. My Father passed away in 05, but my mom has a b.f. i guess you can call it now, and I know he'll be helping out plenty financially. Now, he said that since my Father passed, that FH should dance with MY Mom, and I will dance with FH Dad...I don't mind that...but we still MUST have the Mother-Son dance... any ideas? I'm super-close with FH Dad so I don't mind that idea, and my Mom seems excited to dance with FH since it's almost like her own son... Any help would be appreciated! TIA!!!

Re: Dance Question...????
I'm sorry about your dad
I would say maybe you could have a dance with your mom instead of FH's dad and FH can dance with his mom. Or you could just have the extra dance. It's more common now because a lot of people are doing mother/daughter dances following the father/daughter and mother/son dances. HTH!

I'm in the same boat as you and I think I am going to dance with my mom. Sorry about your dad.

You don't HAVE to do the switcheroo. Lots of girls who have deceased fathers dance with their mom. If that sounds good to you, then you can have a mother-daughter dance and then your FH can just dance with his mom.
