My mom is my only parent and I want to do something speical for her at the wedding. FH of course will be dancing with his mom. I don't really want to dance with my mom. Any suggestions for some thing special i can do for her instead? I was thinking something that involves the song 'you raise me up' by Josh Groban.

Re: Dance with Mom
How about doing a video montage of you and her. you could show pictures of the you both, from when you were a baby up until now.

Re: Dance with Mom
Do you have brothers or sisters? I've been to a few weddings where the mom and bride start dancing and the rest of the siblings join in. It's really touching.
The video is also a good idea.
Have you asked your mom what she would like?

Re: Dance with Mom
I feel kind of funny dancing with my mom and i don't know if my dj will have the ability to show a video montage of pictures. I have two brothers. I was thinking of dedicating 'you raise me up' by Josh Groban, to my mom and then dancing with my brothers to that song. But i don't know if that's special enough for my mom.

What if you have FH dance with your mom? Kind of symbolizing the joining of the 2 families or something?
