should i do sweet melissa cause thats my name and thought it would be cute... for some reason my song with my dad was always lady in red its always been really special to us but i feel like its not daughter father material... or should i do i loved her first cause anyone that knows my dad knows that is totally him

I once heard that lady in red is a bad luck song and ever since that I am now scared to hear it so my opinion might be a bit biased!

I love 'I Loved Her First', I her it at a wedding upstate. It made me cry.....

I have a step Father and wouldn't use that song cause he only came into my life when I was 8. Plus we really don't have a close relationship......

But it is a beautiful song!!!

I like the idea of Sweet Melissa. Cute idea because its your name, plus it's not your typical father daughter dance song that you are always hearing about.

Lady in Red is one of my all time favorite songs, but DEFINITELY NOT father-daughter material. Waaaayyyy too many intimate and romantic undertones for a father-daughter song. JMO!
