any of you planning to take lessons before the big day? i really want to...i know arthur murray is great, but i'm afraid its gonna be really expensive

FH and I always wanted to take Salsa lessons. Being latin and loving salsa music, I'm tired of leaving the dance floor or TRYING to dance when Salsa comes on lol. I have to teach FH Bachata and Merengue. He has the rhythm but he gets nervous and it makes him stiff. I told him before the wedding he needs to break out of that! But once a few drinks are in him he'll loosen up lol![]()

Me toooo!!! I love salsa but FH is totally not comfortable dancing salsa!
I was thinking about it but well see if he will go!
i took some basic salsa lessons one summer by myself at dix hills rec park...it was actually really fun! i learned the basic step and how to navigate a few very simple things...they taught some merengue also...that is much easier then salsa! but i want to do it with FH now...plus i thought it would be nice for our first dance if we knew how to really dance instead of just side to side in baby steps
Where I do zumba they have basic classes for a bunch of types of dances. FH and I always said we try something but never have.
