No, East WInd Doesn't allow smoke machines. But even if they did I dont think we would have gone for it. Its just not our thing.

nope we're keeping it simple and not doing a smoke machine even if Russo's allowed us to.

Re: Dancing on a cloud
Well we were told it's not a smoke machine, but a mist. I don't want it but FH thinks it's cool

Actually...its not a smoke machine...they use dry ice now. It stays low to the ground and then just disappears. All (most) catering halls allow it. None of them allow smoke machines. Its kinda cool if that's your thing.

Yeah, that's what we were told. It stays low to the ground creating the cloud effect. It's not like a smoke machine. It's not my thing at all but FH wants it. Why of all things? lol

NO. Sorry not out thing -- I think we had it one of our proms hahaha!
I feel your pain Michele -- tell him it costs a lot of extra money.
I did go to a wedding where they had it -- they put these metal pails all around the dance floor kind of is an eye soar IMO.

Re: Dancing on a cloud
i heard smoke machines affect your pictures. a friend of mine insisted on not having one and her DJ did it anyway and her pictures are dark and foggy.

Re: Dancing on a cloud
I was at an East Wind wedding last year and they 'danced on a cloud'. There was too much smoke at first and you couldn't see the happy couple for like 15 seconds! The bride was pissed.
