Dancing shoes?

Has anyone heard of using dance shoes (the ones the professional dancers wear for competitions) to weddings?

My cousin wore flesh covered 'character shoes' like this, they are very comfortable.... I used to wear them in college dance classes.... there are definately more delicate looking ones outt there too

Capezio is a company that sells dance shoes. I used them for jazz dancing a while back and ended up getting a couple pairs of heeled tap shoes (without the taps, of course) to wear every day. They're really comfy.

I've also posted about World Tone Dance. They have a huge selection of dance shoes in a range of sizes, and the women there are sooo helpful and patient. My aunt and uncle (who dance in ballroom competitions) and parents (who really love to dance and take lessons all the time) go here for new shoes constantly.

Here are a couple of the shoe styles I saw on their website...

hmmm never heard of this.....

i would think you have to really break them in tho..... dance shoes for he first few times of weraing them can give you blisters and such....

be careful with that

Zappos has some nice dance shoes that you can actually wear out. Many ballroom shoes are definitely wearable....and also more comfortable because there's extra padding on the bottom. I'm using black t-strap character shoes

for 2 of my dances this year and they are the most comfortable shoes ever!!!!!

Yes many brides wear them. It all depends on what look you are going for.

I never thought of wearing dancing shoes unless you're dancing, but you can't even tell that those are dancing shoes. Plus, if they're a lot more comfy than usual shoes, I say go for it and wear them out!
