dancing shoes

i want to do a basket for my January wedding.
Flip flops? chinese slippers? a combination of both? or something else.
ive neve even been to a winter wedding but i am assuming people wear pantyhose-that makes flip flops difficult

For any other time I would say flip flops (bc I would wear them again as opposed to the Chinese slippers) but since it's January, you're probably right thinking that most people will wear stockings and it can make flip flops difficult.

Chinese slippers for winter for the exact reason you said. Pantyhose and flip flops are not friends.

I'd still do flip flops. A lot of the younger people will still go without stockings. And even with stockings, Id rather have flip flops. Chinese slippers+ slippery panty hose will make you slip a lot while dancing (i speak from experience lol). At least with flip flops you can make room in between your toes and wear them.

I'm getting married a week after you and I couldnt decide what to do becuse I really don't like the chinese slippers, but flip flops in the winter/snow didn't appeal to me so I opted out of it all together..

I had a flip flop basket at my wedding and noticed that even a lot of the women who wore pantyhose used a pair of flip flops - they just squished the pantyhose between their otes

What about those ballet-style house slippers? They are satiny and have a grip on the bottom? I feel like those would be really cute....
