So I really need to get the ball rolling on booking our RH. I've been to Danfords (once this year as an engagement gift t o FH). food was incredible. Any one look at it for their RH or been to a wedding there?

Ahhhh SHUT UP!!! We got engaged there!! That was our first date- dinner at Danfords!! Then ( I will spare you the whole story) FH was trying to throw me off and he was like ' Lets go meet my friends. They have a room at Danfords and are going out in Port Jeff.' We got there and went to the rooms in the villas and then bam... i was engaged!!
Danfords is awesome and has great food! My Fh went to a wedding there before we got together and he said it was beautiful and the food is always good there...
Good Luck !

Aw thats so cute! We actually ate dinner at Pasta pasta the night we got engaged, then he wanted to walk out on the pier by Danford's and apparently had planned on proposing in the gazebo, but there were people in there so in a panick he got down on one knee half way down the pier and asked me

Re: Danford's
we looked at it for our RH becuase its such a cute place!! and the convience of the ferry for all our OOT guests was perfect. LOVED Jen, the banquet manager. BUT, the MAX that they can hold is 120 comfortably and 150 squeezing. i wasnt overly thrilled with thier main ballroom. the dancefloor is on a different level than the seating and tables and if we had 150 2 of the tables would be on the level of the dancefloor. Its super cute but i was just afraid of the seperation of people. I know when im at weddings i like to sit at my table and watch people dance. I didnt want it to be so seperated like that. I would recommend for small weddings or other events.
i have quotes and such as well. FM me if youd like. id be happy to help more.
