Hi. We are considering Danfords in Pt Jeff for our reception site, but we don't have much info on them. I'd love to hear from anyone who has had their wedding there, is having it there, or has been to a wedding or other function there. Thanks!

love the place! The coordinator is a lovely woman, and the food is good. I recommend the room over the restaurant. They have great wedding reviews...
It's not for a huge party, though. I can't imagine fitting more than 125 there. Also, you really should pay the $100 or so extra for valet parking since there are parking 'issues' on weekends over here...
Also, having a reception when the sun is still around is preferable, so you can still see the harbor!
One caveat: If you're having OOT'ers, you want to make sure they stay in the main hotel building, since the more remote hotel rooms have someshady reviews, becuase they're seldom used...

Thank you SO much. So you have booked for there then? We want to get married in December, so it's going to be cold no matter what, which we are ok with. When we went in to look at it, the bridal suite was being used for storage, and it wasn't set up at all, so it was very hard to get a feel for the place.

I love Danfords, but I've never been to a wedding there.
I agree that the room is kind of small, so if you are having more than 100-125 maybe you want to check out Lombardi's on the SOund or the Old Field Club.
