Dang it!

Dang it!

I'm logging on from work right now cuz the MOTHERBOARD died on my laptop! I'm soooo annoyed! All my pics and stuff are gone. (Luckily my wedding photos are on disks.)

But.......my wedding review is gone! Now I have to start all over!

And I really don't want to spend $600 on a new laptop. Blah!

*vent done*

I'm going to try when I get home to see if I can get the computer to turn on long enough to transfer anything. It's been shutting off right after startup though.

This happened to one of my old laptops, so freakin' annoying. i was able to get it to be in safe mode and transfer the files over on a USB drive thankfully but I didn't get to put everything.

Re: Dang it!

Go to geek squad (or anyone with good computer knowledge) and let them transfer everything to en external hard-drive. That happened to me on my extremely old desk top 5yrs ago. I took out the internal hard drive, connected it to a converter, and using my dad's computer, I transferred everything to an external hard drive. When I got a new laptop, everything I wanted was OK. A motherboard can be replaced as long as your HD is still functional. HTH...
