DANGER: IMPENDING VERY BAD DECISION.

I have decided to design my own dress and have it made.

Apparently I think I'm Suede from Project Runway.

Somebody save me from myself.

I have officially lost it.

I'm doing the same thing. The key is finding a seamstress who 'gets' your vision and one who you trust and feel comfortable with. Also one who is very experienced, especially in wedding dresses which are of different construction than other dresses.

Ok I have to say that is mighty bold of you! I thought I was crazy for the amount of work I put into my invites...I couldn't even IMAGINE designing my own dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure you find an amazing and professional seamstress. I give you credit girl!

I think it's great... I'm only worried that there isn't a lot of time left to complete it before you wedding??

i don't think its a bad idea...just make sure you have enough time to have it completed !!!

you can do it if you really want!

i'm having my dress made because i just don't feel that there is 'the one' dress out there for me. Instead there are like three different dresses that I like for their different parts and want to combine it to make 'my one'

Okay, it's based on these two. Using just rhinestones or crystals on the detail. Up in the air about the bubble bottom. In a silk shantung, I think.
I think I found a great seamstress- its a beautiful store, so I think they should be okay. I'm concerned about the time, too.
I'm sweating, actually.

BTW, on the Bravo TV website, they already have the Project Runway finale runway pics! I don't want to ruin it, but the results definitely are varied. I can't believe it's almost over!!!
