'Dangling Guests' Need some advice...

OK, so I just started in a new area at work, and I work w/ a whole new team, new mgmt etc. I came into the position on 1/23. Do I have to invite my new boss?

The second guest question - how about our landlords? We have been living downstairs from for 2 years, and we only see them to give them the rent. Again, super nice people, but we don't want them to feel obligated to come, and even more, give a gift. Then again, I don't want to insult them.

I would invite your boss, you don't want to offend them bc they can make problems for you afterwards.

As for your landlords, if you have the room then I'd invite them. It isn't necessary, but it would be a nice gesture. The next time you give them the rent (after the invitations go out) tell them that you don't want them to feel obligated and that you're not looking for a gift.
