We went to Sweden for our honeymoon. They aren't on the Euro, but it's no bargain. I stopped calculating how much things were since it was KILLING me.

If it's any consolation, my family in Greece tells me that Greece is considered to be less expensive than other EU countries...
Have fun regardless!

thanks ladies!!
I looked into prague. When DH went a few years ago he was getting 5* 4 course dinners for $5-$6 with drinks. From what I saw, now meals at those same places will run us like $200! WHAAAATTTT! Thats a huge difference in like 4 years!

Re: darn Euro!!!
I think Croatia was switching over to euro this year but my friends that have gone said it's like a small cheap italy. they really loved it and said the prices were decent.
I went to the UK in Oct and was relieved when I finally got to ireland. i never thought i'd be happy to pay euro prices, but after the pound i guess anything sounds cheap. it's really ridiculous.
not to mention it's going to get so bad here b/c they are offering importers more $$ for product so that drives up prices here and we get less product and less quality product, e.g. seafood, other commodities etc...
i def thought greece/turkey was an avg prices european HM. my mom paid 10K for the same trip over a decade ago. our trip came out to 12K (16K w/ taxes & a few excursions), but our hotels are amazing and we have 5 flights included.

we're getting killed for our honeymoon...we decided to convert all of our money we're taking here so we don't get hit even harder as the dollar depreciates day by day
