date # 3 is Sunday and......ex story

He's coming to visit me in Long Beach.... Things are actually going pretty well. We've spoken on the phone several times this week. Hes going to Chicago this weekend but flying in Sunday afternoon and then driving from Newark (yuck!) to Long Beach... I'm leaving for Miami Wednesday so we said we wanted to get together before then.. I smell a sleepover coming!!! I mean I'm not going to make him drive back to Nyack, am I???

and to make a nother long story short-

my ex husband and I have been speaking occasionally on civil terms. wanted to find out how johnmy nephew was doing etc, sme of his mail still comes here etc.

I run into him on the boardwalk on Sunday with a girl of course...(I was with my sister)
It was weird seeing him but I didnt really have any sad feelings.

He calls me the next day- towards the evening and leaves me a message acknowledging he saw me and he almost fainted b/c he hasnt seen me etc. Meanwhile, I know he is dating this girl Jill kind of exclusively- they are on Hi its me terms... but anyway.

I leave him a message saying I did see him, it was surprising but I didnt make a big deal out of it- I mean we live in the same town. I told him I saw him with the girl and I know hes with someone etc. I told him Im hanging out with someone also and Im glad we can move on and still be civil.

He calls me telling me he never wants to talk to me again. He ACTUALLY thought down the line their might be a chance of us getting back together. He said hes dating several girls and they all know about each other and his story (meaning me) and that he doesnt want any contact anymore because it hurts too much and to just ignore him like a stranger if I ever see him...

Ok- he started dating 3 weeks after he left me and hes upset that after almost 8months Im dating..Ive been talking to him to be nice and try to be mature and civil.
btw hes still drinking and out till all hours of the night....no help no change......

DID I MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION???
HE!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I had to share that because I thought that was ironic and comical... he seriously needs some help.

But enough of that, I am concentrating on my date #3 with Kevin...
