Re: Dave Matthews Band (DMB) Fans...come look
Fave song is #41.
Can't really pick a fave album, love them all. Dave is my fave.
Have seen them probably between 10 and 15 times. Joined the warehouse a few years back, so whenever they are around, we have gotten tickets. The best was we actually got on top the the David Letterman roof when they were there a few years back.... it was amazing.... although they only did a few songs, it was so up close and personal. DH and I LOVE DMB!!!!

I honestly just get very lucky and am always at the right place at the righ time. I once stayed at the same hotel as him so I got to meet him there, that was actually this past october. All of the other times have been in the city.

That is awesome! You really have good luck! I am not known to be the most lucky person in the world, so that probably would never happen to me
Did you just see him walking down the street or at a bar? Just curious

Making a long story short.....
The first time I heard from a friend where he was staying so I ran over there during my lunch break and ended up waiting a few hours for him to come out. I got an autograph and a crappy pic of him
The next time I was unemployed so I waited outside his hotel room when I knew they were in town. I saw Stefan (the bassist) and Butch (the keyboard dude) outside as soon as I got there. I struck up a conversation and got pictures of them and autographs. Dave made an appearance a bit later - I got a pic of he and I and and autograph. He also never gave me back my sharpie marker! A few hours later Boyd, Carter, and Leroi came out of the hotel. I got Boyds autograph and crappy pics of the rest.

I have waited outside for him a lot. When he inducted traffic into the hall of fame i waited outside the red carpet before they set everything up and got lucky enough to be in the spot where he was dropped off. I have also met him when he was on letterman, i was in sound check. So it's really all about luck and willing to wait :)

A question for DMB fans:
Why is it that he doesnt play JTR live anymore? I have heard this and I was wondering if anyone knew the reason for this

We have to keep this thread going!!
Did any of you Warehouse members get your package? I really like the mouse pad, but it doesnt work if you have an optical mouse because of the light reflection so I am trying to figure out what I can do with it, its too pretty to hide inside a draw somewhere!

I had that same problem, so I brought it to work and use it there.
