so about 3 wks ago i went for my 1st fitting, my dress was too big. They measured me and pinned up the sides..etc Yesterday I went back there to pick up my dress..so of course I tried it on again and quess what......DIDNT FIT!! the lady tells me that i must of put on weight or be getting my period any day..umm NOT!! so she re-measures me and says I gained an 1/2 inch on my boops and stomach...? I was so aggravated. I waited 20 min's in the waiting room while they took it out. grrr!!! Hopefully it will fit me in 2 wks..lol Everyone says they must of took it in too much. Anyone have this problem with David's bridal?

i didn't have that problem with David's Bridal, but when I went for my first fitting the dress came in too short! Really short! I panicked and the woman told me I needed to lose weight and the dress would drop... Mmmm No...don't think so! They had to send it back and fix it. Now it's perfect and I've since brought it to another shop. but unfortunately it happens and the shops seem quick to blame the bride for any mishaps!

I don't think it's necessarily a problem with David's Bridal seamstresses (alterations). Same thing recently happened to me with my regular seamstress that took in a dress for me. The good thing is that they were able to take it back out for you!
