Has anyone used David's Bridal for there BM's dresses? How are they??? I've heard so many different stories about them.

I only have a MOH...but she got her dress there. No problems...came in early. She is not getting alterations there.

OK. Thanks. I got my dress there but have it at home already! LOL I plan to go in March for my BM's i have 10 of them.. wish me luck!

David's bridal is good. I got my dress there, the only suggestion I have, is don't order the dresses until you want them to take them home. They don't hold the dresses there, so I have my dress a year early sitting in my closet.. It only took 3 weeks.. But i went to the one here in Georgia, and everything was perfect

Im getting married in Nov., do you think it's too early to order them in march?? i figured it gives us lots of time if there are any problems... it took almost 3mths for my veil to come in.. (im in NY)

I think that would be a good time, 8 months ahead.. 'just in case' I just ordered my dress a year and 4 months ahead but I'm happy I did!!! I think you'll be right on time.. personally It depends on the dress, they just happened to have mine in the factory.. Plus they have to do fittings.. definately do it.. Good luck.. Go in and get the feel for it..

I had a GREAT experience with davids, not only have they held my dress for me, but iw as treated so nicely every tiem I had a question, concern, etc. I went to the one In jersey, Paramus, right by my house..I LOVED it and am very happy with them..I pick up my dress on wednesday!!

I Have heard such mixed reviews about them. Mainly about the one in Carle Place. I have heard everywhere else they are FANTASTIC. My friend is getting married in May & got her dresses from them. They ordered them in late October and they came in December. They had told her like 6 months. BUT they are not doing alterations there. I have heard nightmare stories about that end of it. I was going to get my girl's dresses from there because I found a dress in a color that i could not find anywhere else, but I wound up finding something else @ another store. I am kind of relieved because all the horror stories were haunting me! LOL But you have enough time--which is key with them--this way 'just in case' you have enough to let them fix it.

Thanks for the info. i'll try to tell my girls to get there dresses altered elsewhere:) I have mine at home already and don't plan on bringing it back to them for alterations.. :O)

I bought my dress, BMs dresses, FG dresses and MILs dress. No problems AT ALL

So far, I've had a great experience with David's in Carle Place.

I bought my gown/veil there (gown arrived within 2 weeks).

Last week I ordered my Bridesmaids, Jr. Bridesmaids & Flower girl dresses.

Anyone I've dealt with there has been terrific!

p.s. they have an incredible selection of beautiful gowns - from the very simple to very ornate and their prices can't be beat!

I love my dress ...but personally I would never go there for anything again, FM if you want more info. I'm not even taking my dress there for the bustle and alterations, I am having someone else do it.
